Chrysler anunció el inicio de la producción del nuevo fiat 500 en la planta de Toluca, para lo cual se invirtieron 400 millones de dólares y se generaron 600 nuevos empleos.
El Fiat 500 es el primer auto que se ensambla en una planta de Chrysler en México.

Chrysler announced the startup of production of the new Fiat 500 at its Toluca Plant, where 400 million dollars were invested and 600 new jobs were created.
Fiat 500 is the first car to be assembled at a Chrysler’s plant in Mexico.

Los temas tratados fueron: Revisión del Programa de Trabajo 2011, Definición de proyectos conjuntos con ProMéxico, y Revisión de avances y compromisos del Comité.
Asimismo se llevó a cabo la elección del nuevo Director del Comité Aeroespacial para el año 2011.

Members of the Aerospace Committee met to continue working to integrate this significant sector.
Subjects addressed included reviewing the 2011 Work Schedule, defining joint projects with ProMexico, and reviewing the co progress and commitments.
The new chairman of the Aerospace Committee for 2011 was also elected.

Los integrantes de la Junta Directiva de AMEAC, en esta ocasión tocaron temas como el cierre operativo 2010, presupuesto vs Real; el resultado del crecimiento en comparación con los años anteriores, esto para evaluar el crecimiento de las nuevas estrategias de comercialización y negociación con clientes.
Además se analizó el avance en relación a la convocatoria para becas de estudio de carreras técnicas, que va dirigida a hijos del personal operativo de la industria maquiladora.
Igualmente se estudió el avance del programa ‘Ampliación de Vivienda’, ya que para este año tiene proyectado destinar recursos para la ampliación de 30 viviendas.
Para cerrar la reunión se analizó el reto de crecimiento para este año.

Members of the Board of Directors of AMEAC addressed such subjects as the operational closing for 2010, budget vs. actual figures; the results of growth against previous years in order to assess the growth achieved with the new strategies for marketing and customer negotiation.
Progress was also assessed against the call that was made for scholarships to study technical careers; such a call was made to children of personnel working in maquila industry.
Progress in the “Home Extension” program was also assessed since there is a plan to allot resources to extend 30 homes.
The challenge of growth for this year was also assessed to close the meeting.

De Chihuahua podría salir volando el primer avión fabricado en el país, dado la diversidad de empresas aeroespaciales instaladas, consideró Luis Olivé Hawley, jefe de la Unidad de Promoción de Inversiones y Negocios de Proméxico.
El funcionario federal estimó que en unos 10 años podría salir volando de México, el primer avión fabricado en el país.
A su vez, Luis Olivé informó que México cuenta ya con 213 empresas del sector aeroespacial, de las cuales más de 30 están en Chihuahua.

The first airplane manufactured in the country might take off from Chihuahua given the diversity of the aerospace companies installed, said Luis Olivé Hawley, head of the Investment and Business Promotion Unit of ProMexico.
The federal officer said the first airplane manufactured in the country might take off from Mexico in about 10 years.
Luis Olivé, in turn, reported that Mexico already has 213 aerospace companies, 30 of which are located in Chihuahua.

La empresa japonesa Yazaki Corporation abrirá otras tres plantas en el estado de Chihuahua, además de las 8 ya establecidas en esta entidad federativa por lo que se estarían generando en el estado hasta mil 200 nuevos empleos, anunció ayer desde Japón el Gobernador César Duarte.
En otros de los encuentros, el Gobernador se reunió en la ciudad de Nagoya con el vicepresidente de la empresa Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, Yoji YAmada, quien expresó su interés de establecer una planta en el estado, al tiempo que le mostró el proyecto de sus aviones MJR (Mitsubishi Regional Jet), que van a competir con los Embraer y que son 20 por ciento más eficientes.

The Japanese company Yazaki Corporation will open three more plants in the State of Chihuahua besides the 8 plants it has installed in this state. Up to 1,200 new jobs would thus be created in the state, reported Governor César Duarte from Japan yesterday.
In some other meetings, the governor met the vice president of Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, Yoji Yamada, in the city of Nagoya, who said he was interested in installing a plant in the state as he showed the governor their MJR (Mitsubishi Regional Jet) aircraft project that will compete with the Embraer and are more efficient by 20 percent.

El personal ocupado en los establecimientos del programa IMMEX fue de un millón 816 mil 360 trabajadores, que laboraron a nivel nacional, que representa un aumento anual de 10.1 por ciento con datos a noviembre de 2010.
El INEGI informó que del total del personal ocupado bajo el programa IMMEX el 76.8 por ciento fue contratado directamente por el establecimiento y el 23.2 por ciento restante corresponde a la categoría de subcontratación.

Personnel working in establishments under the IMMEX Program were 1’816,360 workers at a nationwide level – and annual increase of 10.1 percent against data from November 2010.
The INEGI reported that 76.8 percent of the personnel working under the IMMEX Program were directly hired by the companies, and 23.2 percent worked under subcontracts.

El gobernador de Chihuahua Cesar Horacio Duarte, solicitará al Congreso de Unión se agilicen las reformas a la Ley Laboral, para que México sea más competitivo a nivel internacional en diversos rubros, entre ellos ser más atractivo para la inversión en el sector aeroespacial.

The Governor of Chihuahua, César Horacio Duarte, will request for the Congress to speed up the reforms to the Labor Law in order to help Mexico become more competitive in several sectors at an international level and be more attractive for investments in the aerospace sector.

Estamos buscando cada vez menos papeleo y eso mejora las condiciones de inversión en México’, comentó Luis Olivé, jefe de la Unidad de Promoción e Inversiones de Negocios Internacionales de la Secretaría de Economía.
La tala regulatoria que impulsa el presidente Felipe Calderón, prosiguió el funcionario federal, permite actualmente abrir una empresa en cuestión de horas, gracias a lo cual México ascendió en los rankings internacionales de competitividad.
Actualmente a nivel nacional operan 320 empresas del sector aeroespacial, que generan 27 mil empleos, y sólo en Chihuahua hay más de 30 empresas.

The regulatory chart promoted by President Felipe Calderón, said the federal officer, currently allows opening a company in a few hours; this has helped Mexico improve in the international competitive rankings.

La empresa recibió el distintivo ‘H’ que emite la Secretaría de Turismo, por los altos estándares de calidad e higiene con que opera el servicio de comedor en su complejo situado en la carretera a Delicias.
Tras recibir el distintivo de manos de la representante de la Secur, María de Jesús Soto, el accionista principal de Maqsa, Jorge Crus Russek, reconoció el esfuerzo del equipo de comedor, que con su empeño y constancia logró en un breve tiempo documentar el cumplimiento de los estándares de higiene.

The company was given the “H” Distinctive by the Ministry of Tourism due to the high quality and health standards with which it operates the cafeteria in its facilities located in the highway to Delicias.
After the SECTUR’s representative, Maria de Jesús Soto, gave the company the distinction, Maqsa’s major shareholder, Jorge Crus Russek, recognized the efforts of the team working at the cafeteria, whose determination and perseverance led to achieve the health standards in a short term.
